Hampton Inn and Suites Rome, GA

The property is very clean and appears to be newly built. Air freshener diffusers are located throughout the building and the whole place smells fantastic. There’s a gas fireplace in a sitting area outside the breakfast room that is really very nice! The location is walking distance to the federal courthouse (5min walk) and there’s plenty of great restaurants in the area, including a Papa Johns pizzeria directly across the street. There’s much more I could say about the spacious rooms and helpful staff, but I’ll sum up my review by saying I give this hotel a 5 out of 5 rating.

Perfect location in the historic downtown. Beautiful Hampton Inn, recently renovated. Staff very helpful. Very clean, comfortable. I like Hampton Inns and this one was better than most.

We booked a suite, which was very comfortable and spacious. Parking was good

Check-in was fast and easy and the very nice young lady at the desk was super friendly. She even gave us a little bag with two bottles of water and two packages of Lorna Doone cookies. The lobby and breakfast areas are super clean. Room 210 was exceptionally clean. The beds were a notch above wonderful - all dressed in white with very nice pillows (we did not want to get up). Nice black-out curtains. Excellent air conditioner. The bathroom clean clean clean. Good shower. The hallways were clean. Breakfast was good with little omelets, biscuits and gravy, juices, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, and the usual array of pastry and bread and bagels. The fresh fruit was a nice addition. The breakfast staff was exceptional. The location is convenient for walking the downtown area of Rome. The town is cute with a couple of good bars and restaurants.
